Head of People Job Type: Part-Time (Flexible hours and days) Salary: Competitive, based on experience About Us: My client is dynamic and growing business who specialise in the IT sector. They are now seeking a capable and proactive part-time HR professional to join their team in a standalone capacity , owning the HR function and helping us shape a positive and compliant people culture as they grow. Role Overview: This is a standalone HR role , perfect for someone confident working independently and managing the full employee lifecycle. You'll be the go-to person for all things HR—providing strategic and operational support across recruitment, employee relations, policy development, and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of HR as the sole HR professional in the business Provide expert advice on policies, procedures, and employment law Lead recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes Maintain accurate HR records and ensure legal compliance Handle employee relations and support performance management Develop and implement initiatives to support employee engagement and well-being About You: Proven experience in a similar standalone or senior HR role (CIPD qualification desirable) IT/Tech industry experience Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Highly self-motivated and able to work autonomously Confident advising managers and supporting staff at all levels Why Join Us?
