Senior Quantitative Engineer (Low-Latency Java | Crypto) London preferred | Amsterdam & remote (EU) considered Full-time | Competitive compensation A fast-growing, regulated crypto trading venue is looking for a Senior Quantitative Engineer to help build and optimise its next-gen spot and derivatives exchange. This is a high-impact, engineering-led environment — focused on performance, precision, and pushing the limits of what's possible in trading tech. You’ll be working on a 24/7, zero-downtime system that powers both institutional and sophisticated retail access to crypto markets. What You'll Do: Design, build and optimise ultra-low-latency exchange components (matching engine, risk, margin, liquidations) Launch new derivative products across crypto and traditional markets Work closely with clients, risk, and product teams to ensure performance and reliability Tune and enhance systems for nanosecond/microsecond-level latency What We’re Looking For: Proven expertise in low-latency Java Background in quant development, algorithmic trading , or market-making systems Strong academic or professional background in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or similar Solid understanding of crypto trading
