Exciting Finance Assistant Role Based in Edinburgh City CentreHybrid WorkingProgression Opportunities Your new company Hays are proud to be working with a high-performing organisation based in Edinburgh City Centre who are looking to add an enthusiastic Finance Assistant to their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career and continue their individual development. Your new role In your new role, you will be responsible for: Assist in the production of monthly management accounts. Complete daily / weekly bank reconciliations. Post accruals and prepayments. Update fixed asset registers Reconcile creditor and debtor accounts. Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Chase customer debts and other credit control duties. Assist with audit preparation. Assist with quarterly VAT reporting. Supplier payments and queries. What you'll need to succeed To succeed, you will be an enthusiastic and motivated finance professional who has worked in a similar role. You will have strong communication skills and be proficient with Excel.
