Quality Manager

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Manager to join a fantastic client of ours within the metal distribution. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality management, with a strong emphasis on audit processes and compliance. This role is crucial in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Job Title: Quality Manager Location: Sheffield, UK Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) in accordance with industry standards and regulations. Lead internal and external audits to ensure compliance with ISO standards and other relevant regulations. Conduct regular quality assessments and inspections of products and processes. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to address non-conformities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement. Provide training and support to staff on quality standards and procedures. Prepare and present quality reports to senior management. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in quality management practices. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management, preferably in the metal distribution or manufacturing industry. Proven experience in conducting and leading audits. Strong knowledge of ISO standards and other relevant quality regulations. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
