The ideal candidate should have a strong background in M&A and Corporate Tax. Client Details Our client is a large professional services firm based in Southampton, known for their commitment to delivering top-tier service to our clients. Description Leading and managing M&A tax projects and contributing to the delivery of complex client engagements. Developing and maintaining relationships with clients to provide high levels of client service. Providing insightful, industry-specific advice to help our clients mitigate tax risk. Collaborating with team members to improve client support tools, methodologies and best practices. Mentoring and developing team members to enhance their technical skills and personal goals. Participating in business development initiatives and identifying new opportunities with existing clients. Staying abreast of industry changes and trends to maintain up-to-date knowledge. Profile A successful M&A Senior Associate should have: Experience in a UK-based accountancy firm. A degree in Accounting or Finance. A full ATT qualification and a partial or completed CTA qualification. Strong understanding of M&A Tax & Corporate Tax. Excellent analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills. Ability to operate independently while maintaining a strong commitment to team dynamics. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts.
