Senior Data Platform Engineer Contract Role London | Hybrid: 2-3 days pw onsite| Duration: 3-6 months initially | Outside IR35 | Rate: £500–£625/day We are supporting a leading organisation in the migration of their Azure estate to Microsoft Fabric and the build of a modern data platform. They are looking for a contract Data Platform Engineer with deep Data Engineering, DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code experience to help deliver this transformation. Key Responsibilities Build robust CI/CD pipelines from the ground up across a modern Azure data stack Implement DBT from scratch, focusing on infrastructure and deployment (not just usage) Drive migration from Azure to Microsoft Fabric Evaluate and implement Terraform and/or Bicep for infrastructure automation Collaborate closely with data engineers and architects on scalable, secure deployment workflows Requirements Ideally from a Data Engineering background Strong hands-on knowledge of the Azure ecosystem (e.g., Synapse, Azure DevOps, Key Vault) Solid experience with infrastructure as code, especially Terraform and/or Bicep Hands-on implementation experience with DBT Comfortable designing and explaining DevOps architecture and pipelines Industry experience in energy, utilities, or property is a bonus, but not essential Please apply here directly or email your CV to me on ADZN1_UKTJ
