Temporary Kitchen Assistant Role in Bridge! £13.68phr including holiday pay Paid every Friday A valid enhanced DBS certificate required Monday - Friday working 9am - 2pm Our client is seeking a friendly and hardworking Temporary Kitchen Assistant to join a wonderful school in Bridge. This is a great chance to become an integral part of the catering team and make a real difference to the students and staff. What you'll be doing: Assisting with basic food preparation, such as washing and chopping vegetables, and preparing simple dishes under supervision. Ensuring the kitchen and all equipment are kept clean and tidy, adhering to strict hygiene standards. Washing dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils efficiently. Assisting with the setting up and clearing away of food service areas. Helping to manage stock and supplies, and informing senior staff when items are low. Following all health and safety regulations. Generally supporting the smooth running of the school kitchen. What you'll bring: A positive and proactive attitude with a willingness to learn. The ability to work effectively as part of a team. Excellent hygiene standards and a keen eye for cleanliness. Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions. Crucially, you must hold a valid Enhanced DBS certificate. Previous experience in a kitchen environment is beneficial but not essential.
