Assistant Management Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Management Accountant to join a reputable not-for-profit organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the management of company finances and contribute to the achievement of the organisation's mission and strategy. Client Details The organisation is a well-established not-for-profit entity. As a medium-sized institution, it is recognised for its commitment to delivering high-quality training programmes that meet the needs of the community it serves. Description Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and annual financial statements. Monitor and report on budget variances. Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and manage petty cash. Support in the production of forecasts and budgets. Assist in the year-end audit process. Liaise with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting practices and legislation. Contribute to the development of financial policies and procedures.Profile A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have: A degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant field. AAT / CIMA / ACCA Studier Knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications. Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
