JOB DESCRIPTION Position: Supply Nursery Staff Location: East Sussex Pay: £13.70-30.35 per hour Hours: Between 08:00 17:30 Contract Type: Day-to-Day Supply Supply Desk is a nationwide education recruitment company specializing in Primary, SEND, and Secondary education. We place staff in day-to-day and long-term placements in various schools across Brighton & Hove, East Sussex, and West Sussex. Supply Desk is seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Nursery Staff to join our team in nurseries across East Sussex. This flexible role offers a fantastic opportunity to work across a range of nurseries, providing valuable experience while making a real difference in the lives of young children. Key Responsibilities: ?? Provide engaging, age-appropriate activities for children, supporting their early learning and development. ?? Ensure a positive and nurturing environment that promotes safety and well-being for all children. ?? Plan and implement creative play and learning activities that stimulate childrens curiosity and imagination. ?? Work alongside nursery staff to support the care and development of children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. ?? Support individual childrens learning, ensuring each childs needs are met and they receive the attention and care required. ?? Manage children's behaviour in a calm, supportive, and positive manner, helping them learn appropriate social skills. Requirements: ?? Relevant qualifications or experience working with young children (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Early Years Education, Teaching Assistant, or Nursery Nurse). ?? Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children, staff, and parents. ??? Current DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply. What We Offer: ??
