Service Care Solutions are working alongside national Financial Advisory firm who are looking for a motivated and talented Payroll and HR Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. Please find a description of this opportunity below. Role: Payroll and HR Officer. Salary: £30,000 per year (company benefits). Location: Cardiff. Working: Hybrid/Remote. Role Overview: Minimum 12 months’ payroll bureau experience or handling multiple payrolls simultaneously End-to-end payroll processing experience Able to work independently with high confidentiality Confident handling payroll queries from employees, pensioners, and team members Knowledge of auto-enrolment, salary sacrifice, and pension scheme rules Capable of manual tax calculations and understanding tax codes Experience processing court orders, childcare, and pension sharing orders Proficient in minimum wage compliance Skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel Strong communication via phone and email Excellent time management and organisational skills Experience with Sage, Profund (P3), Xero, or similar systems (preferred) CIPP Payroll Technician Certificate (preferred or willing to obtain) Experience onboarding new payroll clients.
