Service Manager - Agricultural Location: Fakenham, Norfolk Sector: Agricultural Machinery & Horticultural Equipment Start Date: ASAP (subject to notice period) Holt Recruitment are proud to be working on behalf of a successful, family-run agricultural dealership group with a longstanding presence in Norfolk. We are seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead operations at their busy Fakenham branch. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual with experience in service department leadership to join a respected and supportive team. Key Responsibilities: Manage the service team and ensure productivity and efficiency in the department Supervise, mentor, and support technicians to deliver first-class repairs and servicing Ensure customer satisfaction through strong communication and service delivery Manage workload distribution and schedule jobs in line with customer needs Monitor departmental performance, including profit/loss reporting Handle customer complaints and queries professionally and effectively Maintain regular and clear communication between technicians, customers, and management Ensure all work is carried out in line with company policies and health & safety proceduresIdeal Candidate Will Have: Strong knowledge of agricultural and/or horticultural machinery (preferred) Proven experience in a Service Manager or Supervisor role within a similar environment Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience managing staff and resolving personnel issues with discretion and confidence Understanding of profit/loss management and reporting Customer-focused approach with the ability to manage expectations professionally Able to work under pressure and act on own initiativeHours & Contract: Permanent, Full-time (42.5 hours/week) Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:30pm (1-hour unpaid lunch) Additional hours may be required, including alternate Saturdays and during peak harvest periodsBenefits: Company vehicle Profit-related bonus scheme 32 days holiday including bank holidays Life assurance (2x salary) Workplace pension Company sick pay scheme Plus many moreIf this fantastic opportunity sounds like the perfect role, apply today!
