Role overview As our Claims Analyst, you will be an integral part of our Analytics Team within Claims. You will be responsible for delivering timely and relevant insights that support various aspects of our insurance business, specifically focused on our Operations initiatives. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and various stakeholders to define, prioritise, and drive the development of data solutions that enable data-driven decision-making and business growth. Job details - you'll need to have demonstrable experience in: Effectively communicating relevant insights from data using compelling visualisations and narratives in a timely manner Monitoring, understanding and communicating the drivers of performance and influencing claims, operational spend and customer outcomes Scoping, implementing and tracking the impact of initiatives and strategies, streamlining processes and improving controls Promoting data literacy and dashboard usage by facilitating user workshops and training sessions Collaborating with business stakeholders to gather and understand data requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives Promoting and enforcing data governance best practices, data quality standards and data security protocols within the team Essential skills/experience: Strong demonstrable experience in a relevant field (Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Data Analyst) from within insurance, claims or financial services Intermediate level in SQL, familiarity with Python or R and proven experience using data visualisation tools such as PowerBI or Tableau Demonstrable experience in owning and delivering analytical projects, dashboards, structuring analysis and deliverables to ensure stakeholder requirements are met The interview process Our interview process involves the below: Recruiter screening call 1st stage interview with hiring leader 2nd interview with hiring leader with case study As a Disability Confident employer, we're committed to ensuring our recruitment processes are fully inclusive - what this means to you is if you're applying for a job with us, you'll have fair access to support and adjustments throughout your recruitment journey.
