Some learners are working at Level 3 , and they’re keen to push higher—so we’re after someone confident delivering English from Entry Level to Level 3 , with the flexibility to support a range of ability levels, including high-attaining learners.You’ll be part of a passionate education team delivering lessons that build literacy, self-belief and future potential . Alongside teaching, you’ll have generous non-contact time , planning periods, and a flexible timetable—with PPA and admin time built into your week.What the job looks like: Up to 23 teaching hours/week : 3.5 hrs in the morning, 2 in the afternoon (Mon–Thurs), 3 hrs on Fridays (and you finish at 1pm on Fridays !) Often a few free sessions each week —used for 1:1 outreach with learners who can’t attend group lessons 5 groups in total , with a fixed calendar of 35 days’ holiday , plus 5 additional floating days to use more flexibly What makes the difference: This role suits someone who connects with disengaged young people —who’s thick-skinned , calm, and can laugh off the odd out-of-context comment from teenage boys.
