Finance Business Partner

Gleeson are partnering with a business in Burton on Trent that are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join their team. This role is perfect for either a PQ or Qualified finance candidate that are looking to join a business that can offer both progression and development. This is a high-exposure role where you’ll work closely with the CFO, COO, and Financial Controller, and directly partner with senior non-finance stakeholders across HR, IT, Marketing, and Property. Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 Hybrid working: 2 days on site Key Responsibilities: Own and manage c.£100m of costs Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders including HRD, ITD, and Marketing Directors Challenge and support stakeholders in setting and managing budgets Prepare and present insightful financial packs to the CFO, COO, and senior leadership Help drive accountability across departments and prevent cost creep Contribute to long-term strategic investment planning Interpret financial results, identify risks/opportunities, and communicate recommendations Collaborate closely with the FP&A team and Strategic Finance Business Partners The ideal candidate: Qualified or part-qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) Strong communicator with a track record of working with non-finance stakeholders Comfortable creating and delivering financial presentations to senior audiences Solid grounding in management accounting, accruals, and forecasting Commercial mindset with experience helping shape budgets and drive cost control Evidence of value-add financial insights and business partnering
