Senior Occupational Therapist (Band 7 Equivalent) – Hertfordshire £46,148 – £47,073 DOE 37.5 hrs/week £3,000 Golden Hello Bonus Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist passionate about neurological rehabilitation? This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape a person-centred occupational therapy service within a supportive and specialist multi-disciplinary team. Based in a beautifully restored historical setting in Hertfordshire, this role supports individuals with a range of neurological conditions through creative, functional, and evidence-based interventions. You’ll have the chance to lead a small team, deliver impactful therapy programmes, and be part of a growing network of neuro-specialist clinicians. Key Responsibilities: Deliver person-centred occupational therapy assessments and interventions to adults with neurological conditions. Lead and develop therapeutic group programmes tailored to a wide range of individual needs. Supervise and support a small team of therapy assistants and activities coordinators. Assess for and recommend specialist equipment and seating where appropriate. Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to care planning and rehabilitation goals. Ensure ongoing professional development through supervision, peer support, and learning opportunities. What We’re Looking For: Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy. HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist. Evidence of continued professional development. Ability to work autonomously and support junior staff. Strong team collaboration and leadership capabilities. Desirable: experience in neurorehabilitation (can include practice placements).
