Principal Psychologist – Remote £62,215 - £72,293 DOE (FTE) 28 Hours per Week 18-Month Fixed Term Contract Are you a skilled and passionate clinical psychologist with neuropsychology experience, ready to lead impactful work within the criminal justice system? We are seeking a Principal Psychologist to join an expanding national neuro-rehabilitation service delivering support across prisons and probation settings in England and Wales. This is a remote role with occasional travel and offers an exciting opportunity to drive forward clinical innovation, staff development, research, and systemic change. What You'll Be Doing: Provide clinical and neuropsychological supervision to Brain Injury Linkworkers across the UK. Support service expansion and development with a focus on evidence-based, person-centred neuro-rehabilitation. Deliver and adapt brain injury awareness training across criminal justice settings. Contribute to service evaluation and research, author publications, and represent the service at conferences and external events. Offer strategic clinical leadership to the wider team, contributing to service design, governance, and continuous improvement. What We’re Looking For: HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist. Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent). Postgraduate training in Neuropsychology (e.g. PGDip) working toward or holding QiCN. Significant experience working in neuro-rehabilitation with individuals with brain injury. Proven track record in supervising clinical teams and leading complex service delivery.
