Position: Treasury Professional Location: On-site – Singapore As a Treasury Professional at JLL, you will be vital in managing the company's cash flow, financial risk, and liquidity in Southeast Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam) and Korea. You will collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to develop and implement treasury strategies, policies, and procedures. Your analytical skills and financial acumen will be essential in optimizing cash management and strengthening our financial position in these markets. Responsibilities: Cash Flow Management: Ensure optimal utilization of funds, including funding and repatriation to and from Southeast Asia and Korea. Develop accurate cash flow forecasts with business, local finance, and shared service teams. Manage cross-border intercompany loans, cash position reconciliation, wire transfers, and FX transactions where required. Oversee daily treasury operations in Southeast Asia. Financial Risk Management: Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize foreign exchange and other financial risks. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to financial risk management. Negotiate and execute FX trades using trading platforms or banks. Manage cash investments within policy guidelines. Banking Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with banking partners in Southeast Asia and Korea. Stay updated on regulatory changes and bank products to optimize banking services. Negotiate banking terms, fees, and pricing. Support the rollout of global initiatives like Treasury Management System (Kyriba). Treasury Operations: Handle bank account openings, closures, and signatory updates. Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various functions. Support issuance of local bank guarantees. Propose and execute initiatives to optimize treasury processes and systems. Support global treasury initiatives to reduce manual payments and cheques. Assist finance and shared service teams in issue resolution. Ensure adherence to treasury policies and payment security. Support M&A and restructuring activities as needed. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on cash flow, liquidity, and risk exposure. Present insights and recommendations to management and stakeholders in Southeast Asia, Korea, APAC, and global teams. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or CTP certification is a plus. Experience in treasury management or related roles in Southeast Asia and Korea. Experience setting up FX lines, executing FX trades, and hedging; knowledge of FXAll is advantageous. Strong understanding of treasury operations, cash management, and banking in Southeast Asia and Korea. Problem-solving skills and curiosity to manage projects and derive insights. Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams. Detail-oriented with multi-project management skills across time zones. Experience with Kyriba and foreign currency trading platforms is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to travel as required.
