Singapore Legal Entity Control AVP, Private Bank Join to apply for the Singapore Legal Entity Control AVP, Private Bank role at Barclays Role Overview Step into the role of Singapore Legal Entity Control Analyst at Barclays in Singapore. You will produce MAS, Singstat, ACRA regulatory reports for Barclays Bank PLC, Barclays SG Branch, including Private Bank. Responsibilities include supporting finance projects related to reporting changes, controls, process reviews, and system enhancements. You will prepare and submit IRAS tax filings, including indirect and direct taxes, working closely with the Singapore tax team. You’ll collaborate with the Vice President to develop controlling tools ensuring data integrity and completeness for accurate and timely regulatory submissions. The role involves direct interactions with the Singapore Country Head, Regional Financial Controller, Singapore CFO, local regulators (MAS/ACRA), tax authorities (IRAS), Treasurer, and the Private Bank Investment team. You may be assessed on key skills such as risk and controls, change management, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technological skills, as well as technical expertise specific to the role. Purpose of the Role To manage the financial operations, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of financial reporting. Key Responsibilities Preparation and presentation of accurate financial statements in accordance with standards, rules, and regulations. Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks; report these risks to senior management. Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure data accuracy. Implement and update financial policies and procedures for consistent practices. Manage financial systems and software, collaborating with IT for integration. Prepare and submit regulatory reports; support other departments in regulatory reporting. Coordinate with external auditors and regulators during audits.
