Sales Growth Leader Cargo - Marine

Job Description

Responsible for ensuring consistent and rapid growth in sales across Mexico and identifying and developing new business opportunities including cross-selling and existing clients for the Marine – Cargo insurance line of business The Role Develop broking and marketing strategy for renewal and new placements Nationwide Assist with RFP and tender responses, including taking responsibility for contribution to writing and presenting our response orally where required. Negotiate renewal and new placements with insurance markets on behalf of clients. Gather information and analytics to assess and evaluate client risks to support the placement of client risks into the market. Assist with performing policy contract reviews. Proactively follow up on leads to support the production of marine, independently where a viable opportunity is identified. Search for new clients with a specific budget Develop a strong relationship with Client service teams and facultative teams. Build relationships with other lines of business to increase connectivity and opportunities to cross-sell. Ensure ongoing compliance with WTW guidelines and procedures to ensure the highest standards of service are maintained. The Requirements Knowledge of freight forwarders, ocean transportation, inland transportation Knowledge and understanding of current insurance marketplace/carriers. Technical knowledge of insurance contracts and structures Demonstrates knowledge of marine/cargo insurance principles and provides explanations to clients. Ability to interface with clients and collaborate internally with teammates to serve clients. Seek guidance when needed and be receptive to feedback. Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and oral Good listening skills Enhanced client service skills and negotiation skills Ability to manage and seek higher-level support in difficult situations. Strong technology acumen – ability to utilize technology-based record management systems, advanced Microsoft Office skills, and familiarity with other relevant online tools. Quick learner, client-centric and results-oriented Ability to work well within a team environment. English written and spoken Ability to adapt personal style to work effectively with a wide range of clients, colleagues, and underwriters.
