BIM Specialist

The BIM Specialist creates and manages detailed BIM models for the design and engineering of electrical cable systems, ensuring accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with project requirements. They develop technical documentation for internal teams, subcontractors, and clients, while optimizing designs for competitiveness. The role supports data exchange, maintains BIM standards, and contributes to workflow improvements. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Object library development in alignment with wider BIM strategy. Support the project coordinator in Assurance and checking of the information model and creating checks reports. Producing the information model. Collaborate with various stakeholders in producing the information models. Understanding of projects BIM execution plan (BEP), TIDPs/MIDPs, MPDT. Use of the CDE for the information exchange. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Minimum Qualifications: Master Degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Building Engineering or similar. BIM Certification / BIM Master or similar. Full proficiency in both written and spoken English. Minimum Experience and Skills: 2 years specific experience in electrical engineering (energy industry is a plus). Experience of BIM processes within a multi-disciplinary engineering environment. Knowledge of cable construction and main characteristics. Proficiency with the software Revit, Civil 3D, Naviswork or similar. Proven experience in the use of CDE (e.g., Autodesk construction cloud) as an information exchange platform.
