Lead Engineer - Full Stack Technologies

We are looking for an experienced Staff Engineer to drive the design, architecture, and delivery of complex, scalable, and high-impact technical solutions across our global content platform. Responsibilities : - Act as a technical leader across multiple teams, driving architecture decisions and ensuring technical alignment with the organizations vision. - Design, develop, and deliver scalable, performant, and resilient systems that meet current and future business needs. - Write high-quality, production-grade code to create pilots or proof-of-concept solutions for innovative ideas. - Contribute to the maintenance of existing systems, ensuring stability, scalability, and reliability. - Drive the development of new features that align with business and user needs. - Lead complex technical initiatives, including the evaluation and integration of new technologies and frameworks. - Provide technical mentorship and guidance to engineers across the organization to promote best practices and professional growth. - Identify and address technical debt, architectural bottlenecks, and areas for optimization in existing systems. - Collaborate with product managers, engineering managers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable technical plans. - Conduct thorough code and design reviews, ensuring adherence to high standards of quality and maintainability. - Drive adoption of modern software engineering practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code. Requirements : - 8 years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior technical role. - Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and Go. - Familiarity in PHP as a plus. - Proven ability to write production-grade code and deliver pilots or proof-of-concept solutions. - Demonstrated experience contributing to the maintenance of existing systems and the development of new features. - Experience with modern web development frameworks and libraries, including Node.js and React. - In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and experience building cloud-native applications. - Extensive experience with databases, including SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB). - Proficiency in modern software development practices, including Agile methodologies, DevOps principles, and CI/CD pipelines. - Demonstrated ability to design and implement secure, scalable, and reliable software systems. - Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Strong understanding of architectural patterns, including event-driven architecture, CQRS, and domain-driven design. - Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on root cause analysis and continuous improvement. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. - Experience mentoring and coaching engineers to achieve their career goals and contribute to the teams success.
