Engineering Manager - Frontend Development

Responsibilities : - Oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable web applications using React.js, Next.js, and modern web technologies. - Provide technical guidance and ensure best practices in coding, design, and performance optimization. - Ensure high-quality code through best practices, code reviews, and performance optimization. - Collaborate with backend teams working with Node.js / GoLang to ensure seamless system integration. - Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies and trends. - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture. - Conduct regular 1 : 1s, performance reviews, and professional development plans. - Plan resource allocation and prioritize tasks in alignment with business objectives. - Recruit, onboard, and retain top engineering talent. - Address team challenges and foster a positive and productive work environment. - Work with stakeholders to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables. - Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products and features, maintaining quality standards. - Drive agile methodologies and improve team productivity through efficient workflows. - Manage project risks and dependencies. - Track and report on project progress and performance. - Utilize AWS Cloud services for application hosting, monitoring, and scalability. - Ensure the team leverages AWS effectively, optimizing costs and performance. - Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. - Ensure application security and reliability in the cloud environment. - Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and QA teams to deliver exceptional user experiences. - Translate technical challenges into actionable solutions for non-technical stakeholders. - Participate in product planning and design discussions. - Ensure effective communication and collaboration across teams. Required Skills : - Expertise in React.js and Next.js. - Strong understanding of modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript). - Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API). - Knowledge of frontend testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress). - Experience collaborating with backend teams using Node.js or GoLang. - Experience with AWS Cloud services. - Proven experience in leading and managing engineering teams. - Experience in managing projects and delivering on deadlines. - Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills : - Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG). - Knowledge of performance optimization techniques. - Experience with micro-frontend architectures. - Familiarity with design systems and UI/UX principles. - Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. Required Experience : - 5 years of experience in frontend development. - 3 years of experience in leading and managing frontend teams. - Proven track record of delivering high-quality web applications.
