SAP GTS Consultant

Responsibilities : - Lead and participate in SAP GTS implementation projects, including requirement gathering, design, configuration, testing, and go-live. - Configure and customize SAP GTS modules, including Compliance Management, Customs Management, and Risk Management, to meet client requirements. - Develop and maintain technical documentation, including functional specifications, configuration guides, and test plans. - Ensure seamless integration of SAP GTS with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI) and external systems. - Provide expert advice on global trade regulations, including import/export controls, sanctions screening, and customs procedures. - Ensure compliance with international trade laws and regulations. - Conduct gap analysis and recommend solutions to address trade compliance challenges. - Configure and manage customs processes, including customs declarations, duty calculations, and electronic filing. - Ensure compliance with customs regulations and optimize customs clearance processes. - Implement and manage customs duty optimization strategies. - Configure and manage compliance checks, including sanctions screening, export license determination, and embargo checks. - Implement and maintain compliance rules and regulations in SAP GTS. - Manage restricted party screening and ensure accurate and timely screening results. - Configure and manage risk assessment and mitigation processes. - Implement and maintain risk rules and thresholds in SAP GTS. - Manage preference determination and ensure accurate preference calculations. - Develop and execute test plans and test cases for SAP GTS configurations and customizations. - Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot issues. - Conduct user training and knowledge transfer sessions. - Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure successful project delivery. - Participate in project planning, status meetings, and risk management activities. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide regular updates on project progress. - Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP GTS functionalities and global trade regulations. - Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. - Recommend and implement best practices for SAP GTS implementation and support. Required Skills : - Extensive experience in implementing and configuring SAP GTS modules (Compliance Management, Customs Management, Risk Management). - Deep understanding of SAP GTS functionalities and integration with other SAP modules. - Experience in customizing SAP GTS to meet specific client requirements. - Strong understanding of global trade regulations, including import/export controls, sanctions screening, and customs procedures. - Knowledge of international trade laws and regulations. - Experience in configuring and managing customs processes, including customs declarations and duty calculations. - Knowledge of customs regulations and procedures. - Experience in developing and executing test plans and test cases. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences. - Experience in participating in SAP implementation projects. - Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Preferred Skills : - SAP Certifications : SAP GTS certifications. - ABAP Development : Basic understanding of ABAP development for debugging and troubleshooting. - Industry Experience : Experience in specific industries (e.g., manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, automotive). - Integration Technologies : Experience with integration technologies (e.g., EDI, APIs). - Data Migration : Experience with data migration tools and techniques. Required Experience : - 5-10 years of experience as an SAP GTS Consultant. - Proven experience in implementing and supporting SAP GTS solutions. - Experience in working with global clients and projects. - Experience with multiple SAP GTS implementation lifecycles.
