Senior SAP Consultant

As a Senior SAP Consultant, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing solutions within the SAP ecosystem, leading configuration, and guiding stakeholders through successful deployment and support. You will play a key role in client engagements and internal projects, ensuring best practices and optimal SAP performance. Key Responsibilities : Requirement Gathering & Analysis : - Engage with clients and business stakeholders to gather detailed business and functional requirements. - Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for SAP-enabled improvements. Solution Design & Configuration : - Design and configure SAP modules based on business needs e.g., SAP MM, SD, FICO, PP, HCM, WM, or S/4HANA, depending on specialization. - Prepare detailed functional specifications for custom development or & Project Management : - Lead or participate in end-to-end SAP implementations, rollouts, and upgrades. - Support all phases of project delivery: blueprinting, realization, testing, go-live, and post-go-live support. - Coordinate with ABAP developers, BASIS team, and third-party vendors where necessary. Testing & Deployment : - Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and user acceptance testing (UAT) plans. - Ensure seamless deployment by preparing cutover and data migration strategies. Support & Optimization : - Provide L2/L3 support and troubleshoot issues within SAP modules. - Perform system health checks and suggest performance improvements or system Collaboration : - Act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal business units. - Train end users and prepare clear documentation for ongoing use and future reference. Required Skills & Qualifications : - 6 years of hands-on SAP experience in one or more core modules (e.g., MM, SD, FICO, PP, HCM, etc.). - Proven experience in at least 2 full-cycle SAP implementations. - Strong understanding of SAP best practices, integration points, and industry-specific processes. - Ability to translate complex business processes into SAP configurations and solutions. - Excellent communication, client-handling, and presentation skills. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) : - Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations or migrations. - Exposure to SAP Fiori, SAP BTP, or SAP Cloud Platform. - Knowledge of ABAP debugging or working with technical teams. - Project management or SAP certification (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate).
