Role Overview : Intellect Bizware Services is seeking a highly experienced and skilled SAP TM/ABAP Consultant for a contract engagement. This role offers the flexibility of being primarily remote with potential hybrid work arrangements based in Navi Mumbai. As a key member of our consulting team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level consulting services, managing critical system integrations through IDocs and interfaces, developing custom ABAP solutions, and actively participating in diverse SAP projects. Your deep understanding of SAP Transportation Management (TM) and strong ABAP development skills will be crucial in ensuring the efficient and effective integration of SAP systems for our clients. Responsibilities : - SAP TM Consulting : Provide expert consultation and guidance to clients on SAP TM functionalities, best practices, and solution design. - Solution Design & Implementation : Participate in the full project lifecycle, including requirement gathering, system design, configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP TM solutions. - IDoc Management : Design, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot IDoc interfaces for seamless data exchange between SAP and external systems. - Interfaces Development : Develop and maintain various types of interfaces (e.g., APIs, file-based) to integrate SAP TM with other SAP modules and external applications. - ABAP Development : Design, develop, test, and implement custom ABAP programs, reports, enhancements, and user exits to meet specific business requirements within the SAP TM environment. - System Integration : Ensure smooth and efficient system integration between SAP TM and other relevant SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, LE) and external logistics systems. - Technical Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and test scripts. - Issue Resolution : Analyze and resolve technical issues related to SAP TM, IDocs, interfaces, and custom ABAP developments. - Collaboration : Work closely with functional consultants, project managers, and client stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. - Knowledge Sharing : Stay updated with the latest SAP TM and ABAP advancements and share knowledge with the team. Experience : - Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP Transportation Management (TM) implementation and support projects. - Proven experience in managing IDoc interfaces and developing various types of system interfaces within the SAP landscape. - Extensive experience in ABAP programming, debugging, and performance optimization within the context of SAP TM. - Demonstrated experience in integrating SAP TM with other SAP modules and external systems. - Solid understanding of end-to-end business processes in logistics and : - Strong consulting skills with the ability to understand client business needs and translate them into effective SAP solutions. - Proficient in IDoc configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting. - Expertise in designing, developing, and implementing various types of interfaces using different technologies. - Excellent programming skills in ABAP, including report development, enhancements, user exits, and object-oriented ABAP. - Proven ability to work effectively on SAP projects, adhering to timelines and quality standards. - Strong understanding of SAP system integration concepts and methodologies. - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - SAP certifications in relevant modules (e.g., SAP TM, ABAP) are considered a significant advantage.
