Reubro International - Roblox Game Developer - LUA Programming

At Reubro international we are looking for a Roblox Game Developer to create a unique finance-themed game that blends elements of Adopt Me and ThinkorSwim. The game will introduce players to call and put options trading through fun and simplified gameplay. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing the game using Roblox Studio and Lua scripting. Responsibilities : - Develop the core trading mechanics (buying calls/puts, simulating price movements). - Design and implement game UI (simple trading dashboard, charts, and balance display). - Create an engaging onboarding experience similar to Adopt Me's tutorial system. - Implement price fluctuation algorithms for in-game assets like "RobuxCoin." - Add progression mechanics (unlockable assets, office upgrades, leaderboards, etc.). - Ensure smooth gameplay and optimize performance across devices. - Integrate visual effects, sound design, and animations for engaging gameplay. - Implement optional social features like trading competitions and leaderboards. - Conduct playtesting, debugging, and balancing to refine the game experience. Requirements : - Proficiency in Roblox Studio and Lua scripting. - Experience with UI/UX design for games. - Understanding of game mechanics, balancing, and player progression. - Ability to implement data-driven systems (e.g., price movement simulation). - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. - Experience in multiplayer game development is a plus. - Knowledge of basic finance concepts (or willingness to learn). - Passion for creating fun and educational gaming experiences.
