We are a busy and growing 26-doctor hospital offering specialized care in surgery, internal medicine, oncology, dermatology, neurology, emergency & critical care, and cardiology. With so many disciplines under one roof, the opportunity to learn and grow here is endless. We're currently seeking a Veterinary Lab Assistant to join our team! In this essential behind-the-scenes role, you'll support all departments in the processing, preparation, and coordination of laboratory diagnostics. Your attention to detail and ability to recognize abnormalities in samples will play a vital part in the care of our patients. Requirements What You'll Do: Process and prepare lab samples including cytology's, urinalyses, and other in-house or send-out diagnostics Communicate with outside laboratories to coordinate submissions, confirm pricing, and track results Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, ensuring proper documentation and organization Monitor and recognize abnormalities in patient diagnostics and communicate findings to appropriate teams Support all departments-not assigned to just one-allowing for a dynamic and well-rounded experience Who We're Looking For: Veterinary experience is preferred -this role needs someone familiar with medical terminology and diagnostic processes Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Comfort with medical record-keeping and data entry A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment Clear and professional communication skills for internal teams and external lab coordination Ready to Make a Difference?
