Install, remove, configure, and document maintenance on computers, tablets, Smartphone’s, fax machines, scanners, copiers, and printers. 2. Provide technical support to agency personnel service desk telephone and/or remote assistance on the computer. 3. Answer service desk tickets and contact and follow up with outside vendors repairing agency equipment under warranty. 4. Maintain up-to-date accurate records for inventory and repair/maintenance work performed within the agency. Perform preventive maintenance inspections on agency technology equipment. Experience Level Junior Level External Job Description - Install, remove, configure, and document maintenance on computers, tablets, Smartphone’s, fax machines, scanners, copiers, and printers. - Provide technical support to agency personnel service desk telephone and/or remote assistance on the computer. - Answer service desk tickets and contact and follow up with outside vendors repairing agency equipment under warranty. - Maintain up-to-date accurate records for inventory and repair/maintenance work performed within the agency. Perform preventive maintenance inspections on agency technology equipment. Make recommendations for the technology budget. 25% of this person’s time will be spent providing written and oral reports, answering phones, and screening calls. Receiving and relaying messages directly to the correct department or staff and prepare correspondence and documents. 75% of this person’s time will be spent in performance maintenance on the agency computer systems. They will answer service desk phone calls on computer systems and diagnoses problems. Monitor network activities by observing. Solar winds network management local and remote testing on equipment, including running computer programs to diagnose faults. Performing equipment repair, building cables, replacing boards and components to identify or remedy failures. Preparing and installing software and peripheral devices and perform diagnosis and resolution of software problems. Implementing systems and provide ongoing maintenance and enhancements. Trains users in basic operation and maintenance of computer systems and related components. Performs asset inventory checks, loads new equipment into asset management system and removes retired equipment from system.
