Planning Manager

Planning Manager Alexander Steele is recruiting a Planning Manager to join a well-established food manufacturing business based in Norfolk. You will lead the end-to-end planning of food production and supply. This role is crucial in aligning product supply, processing capacity, and customer demand to ensure optimal efficiency, minimal waste, and timely delivery across the supply chain. What’s on Offer: Paying circa £45,000 (d.o.e) 30 days holiday Company pension Monday – Friday (8:30am – 5pm) Long term career development opportunities Responsibilities: Develop and manage production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products. Implement and uphold food safety and quality standards in production planning. Collaborate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure the availability of raw materials. Liaise with farming teams, hatcheries, feed mills, and processing plants to coordinate supply chain activities. Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in demand or supply chain disruptions. Background Experience: 5 years of experience in a similar role within a similar food/fmcg manufacturing environment. Commercially astute, articulate, technically strong, dynamic and insightful Advanced working knowledge of Excel. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Excellent ability to communicate with stakeholders across various levels.
