Senior Estates Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Estates professional to lead the management of a diverse property portfolio within a public sector setting. Reporting to the Principal Estates Manager and working closely with Strategic Asset Management and Facilities teams, you will play a key role in implementing the Corporate Landlord model and delivering estate services in line with RICS and CIPFA standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead the management of a complex property portfolio, ensuring compliance, safety, and sustainability. Maximise rental income and manage commercial estates effectively. Oversee acquisitions, disposals, asset valuations, and lease management. Deliver key property-related projects and support asset management strategy development. Line manage and mentor a small team of property professionals. Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships, supporting collaborative service delivery. Contribute to strategic planning, risk management, and the continuous improvement of estate functions. Requirements: Proven experience in estate or property management within the public sector. Strong understanding of property law, governance, and strategic asset planning. Experience managing complex projects, budgets, and teams. Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) preferred or working towards.
