Legal Secretary Location: Ayrshire Job Type: Full-time Our client is looking for a skilled Legal Secretary to join their team, providing essential administrative support within their busy civil department. This role is crucial for the smooth operation of their legal office, ensuring efficiency and professionalism in handling client interactions and legal documentation. Day-to-day of the role: Typing digitally dictated documentation with high accuracy, attention to detail, and speed. Working to strict deadlines and managing multiple tasks efficiently. Handling client enquiries daily, providing timely and accurate information. Maintaining a good working knowledge of legal aid online. Managing incoming and outgoing communications, including emails and phone calls. Scheduling appointments, meetings, and important dates for lawyers. Performing general office duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning. Handling sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar administrative role within a legal setting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Outlook. Strong administrative skills with the ability to type accurately and quickly. Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines efficiently. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
