Heathrow is looking for a Sustainability Reporting Lead to champion our commitment to people and planet, and ensure we remain at the forefront of environmental, social, and governance transparency. About the role: As the Sustainability Reporting Lead, you will be responsible for developing and managing Heathrow’s strategic sustainability reporting programme. You will produce high-quality disclosures across key platforms, including our Annual Report and Accounts, standalone Sustainability Report, and various ESG indices. You’ll also provide critical support to internal governance structures such as Heathrow’s Executive and Board Committees. Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end delivery of Heathrow’s annual sustainability report Oversee ESG data collection and assurance across the business Embed emerging disclosure frameworks such as ISSB and TNFD Curate compelling sustainability content for internal and external stakeholders Provide secretariat support to the sustainability-focused Executive Sub-Committee Guide submissions to ESG ratings and benchmarks Maintain a robust and accessible ESG data repository Monitor and advise on trends in sustainability governance and disclosure What We’re Looking For: Proven experience in sustainability reporting and governance Knowledge of ESG frameworks (e.g., ISSB S1/S2, TNFD) Exceptional writing, stakeholder engagement, and data handling skills Experience creating Executive and Board-level reports Understanding of sustainability issues in aviation or within large, complex organisations Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills Our Values: Care for people and wellbeing Do the right thing for our communities and the planet Work together as one Heathrow team Treat everyone with respect and foster inclusivity Strive for excellence and lead through service Be ambitious and growth-minded Ready to Lead the Future of Sustainable Aviation?
