Senior Software Developer (Backend)

Theyre seeking a Senior Software Developer with a backend focus to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance payment solutions. Youll work closely with product teams to build and optimize backend frameworks, ensuring low latency, efficient memory management, and seamless system integration. Responsibilities include interpreting business requirements into deployable solutions, recommending new technologies, and troubleshooting issues with urgency. Youll participate in stand-up meetings to track project statuses, timelines, and resolutions, while contributing to software documentation and training materials. Skills & Experience: Minimum 6 years of software development experience in a B2B transactional, payments, or SaaS industry Strong proficiency in C#, VB.NET, SQL, RabbitMQ, and web services Experience using Visual Studio and Xamarin for building user interfaces Familiarity with testing frameworks and backend development tools Solid understanding of backend design, web development processes, and mobile development Ability to recommend technologies and implement performant, compatible solutions Strong communication skills for collaboration with designers, developers, and stakeholders Proficient in MS Office Suite, CRM, ASANA, and MS Teams Analytical, detail-oriented, and organized with excellent time management skills Ability to manage multiple projects, adapt to changing requirements, and meet deadlines under pressure Knowledge of the payments industry and technical payment processes is highly beneficial Honest, reliable, and hardworking with strong numerical and quantitative skills Qualification: Relevant IT Degree (preferred) Contact LIZAAN BUNNING on
