Building Inspector / Architect / Building Control Officer – George

Duties: Oversee all aspects of building code and compliance on the Estate Requirements: Minimum 3-year relevant tertiary qualification in related fields Suitable qualification Town Planning / Building Plans Any drafting or construction courses would be an advantage Experience and go od technical ability on construction sites in building industry Preference for prior experience in large scale residential environment Must have a good understanding of the construction industrys statutory requirements Must have a good understanding of local town planning scheme Must have a good understanding of the issues affecting residential communities Must have a good understanding of architectural drawings and building plans Must be computer literate and proficient in MS Office Knowledge of architectural software such as CAD is advantageous Must have outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written Strong organizational skills Excellent time management skills Good problem-solving skills Must be able to read and interoperate building and architectural plans Must be able to handle pressure Must show attention to detail
