SMT Supervisor

Responsibilities: Manage SMT production operations to meet daily and monthly schedules. Allocate resources effectively across operators, quality controllers, and material handlers. Approve first-off builds and ensure compliance with IPC and customer standards. Troubleshoot and maintain SMT equipment including pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, and AOI systems. Lead, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary SMT team. Conduct production meetings and provide reporting on performance metrics. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and resolve Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs). Support internal and external quality audits and customer visits. Maintain safety standards and ensure adherence to health regulations. Required Skills and Experience: Diploma or degree in Electronics, Manufacturing, or a related field. 35 years of supervisory experience in SMT or electronics manufacturing. Proficient in SMT processes including programming, reflow, and AOI. Solid working knowledge of IPC standards and quality systems. Strong technical understanding of SMT equipment and workflows. Proven leadership and team management abilities. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
