What knowledge/experience would be specific to this role: Understand Row Hammer attack mechanisms, as well as Row Hammer protection mechanisms (target is to align this knowledge with RHR experts from other pillars) Knowledge of the specific limitations/features implemented on GfX products (could be provided by Munich team) Knowledge of existing RHR flow patterns, alignment with cross-pillar experts and GfX team on the content of the GfX RHR flow Knowledge to use the SM3 tester and the GDDR7 ATE test program, because it is the base test program for running the RHR flow. This knowledge can be provided by the Munich or Taiwan GfX team Responsibilities of this role: Ensure that existing RHR patterns are functional and are able to find row hammer related weaknesses Extend the existing RHR flow by developing more SM3 patterns or converting existing patterns from other products to fit for GfX products Execute on silicon the RHR pass/fail tests as well as the row hammer threshold characterization Discuss with technical experts, draw conclusions and present results. Provide summarized results to the full team for validation milestones of each GfX product Participate in alignment meetings across pillars and with GfX team. Drive improvements and prioritization of RHR coverage to ensure the GfX products do not show RHR related weaknesses Collaborate with GfX burn team to understand GfX specific RHR coverage in burn production test Collaborate with cross-pillar experts and with Scot Schellhamer to ensure that the GfX RHR flow has no gaps Collaborate with GfX DES team for questions on the specific protection mechanisms that are implemented on GDDR products Collaborate with GfX Validation/ATE speed team: to align on milestone requirements for RHR tests About Micron Technology, Inc.
