Health Safety Environment Engineer

Job Description A Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Engineer is a professional responsible for ensuring that workplace environments are safe, healthy, and environmentally friendly. Their role is critical in industries such as vehicle manufacturing, where safety and environmental risks are high. Qualifications University Degree Basic knowledge and application of laws and regulations related to environmental protection, safety, and hygiene. Knowledge of the ISO 45001:2018 standard. Knowledge of the ISO 14001:2018 standard. Personnel management, conflict resolution Problem-solving analysis Interpretation of regulations, results-oriented Bilingual preferred (written and spoken) Results-driven, self-motivated Responsibilities Conduct walkthroughs to verify the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Conduct walkthroughs in production areas to identify unsafe conditions due to the lack of guards or safety devices on machinery and equipment. Perform lighting evaluations prior to monitoring by an external laboratory. Conduct evaluations of new chemical substances. Validate new or relocated machinery and equipment. Participate in the validation of new production lines or their relocation. Participate in the induction course covering safety topics. Implement awareness programs aimed at strengthening the safety culture. Ensure corrective actions identified in root cause analyses of lost-time and recordable accidents are implemented in a timely manner. Ensure all first aid cases and near misses are communicated through the safety bulletin.
