SAP FICO Consultant

About the Role : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP FICO Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing SAP FICO solutions to meet our clients' business requirements. You will leverage your deep understanding of SAP FICO modules and your technical expertise to deliver high-quality solutions and provide expert support. Responsibilities : SAP FICO Configuration & Implementation : - Design and configure SAP FICO modules (FI-GL, FI-AP, FI-AR, FI-AA, CO-OM, CO-PA, CO-PC) to meet business requirements. - Implement and customize SAP FICO functionalities, including general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, cost center accounting, profit center accounting, and product costing. - Perform system configuration, testing, and documentation. - Develop and maintain functional specifications and technical documentation. Business Process Analysis & Design : - Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement using SAP FICO solutions. - Design and implement end-to-end business processes in SAP FICO. - Conduct workshops and gather requirements from business users. - Provide best practice recommendations to clients. Integration & Customization : - Integrate SAP FICO modules with other SAP modules (SD, MM, PP) and external systems. - Develop and implement custom enhancements and reports using ABAP. - Configure and maintain interfaces using IDocs, APIs, and other integration technologies. Testing & Support : - Develop and execute test plans and test cases. - Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). - Provide post-implementation support and resolve production issues. - Troubleshoot and debug SAP FICO configurations and programs. Data Migration & Reporting : - Plan and execute data migration activities using LSMW, BAPIs, or other data migration tools. - Develop and maintain SAP FICO reports using SAP Query, Report Painter, or other reporting tools. - Utilize SAP Analytics Cloud or other reporting tools for FICO analytics. Project Management & Collaboration : - Participate in project planning, execution, and monitoring. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. - Provide regular updates on project progress and issues. Required Technical Skills : SAP FICO Modules : - Expert-level knowledge of FI-GL, FI-AP, FI-AR, FI-AA, CO-OM, CO-PA, CO-PC. - Experience in configuring and implementing all sub-modules. Configuration & Customization : - Strong understanding of SAP FICO configuration and customization. - Experience with user exits, BAdIs, and other enhancement techniques. Integration : - Experience with integrating SAP FICO with other SAP modules (SD, MM, PP). - Knowledge of IDocs, APIs, and other integration technologies. ABAP Development (Basic) : - Basic knowledge of ABAP for debugging and developing custom reports. Data Migration : - Experience with LSMW, BAPIs, or other data migration tools. Reporting & Analytics : - Experience with SAP Query, Report Painter, or other reporting tools. - Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud or other reporting tools. Testing : - Experience in developing and executing test plans and test cases. Database Knowledge : - Understanding of relational databases and SQL. Required Experience : - [5 years] of experience as an SAP FICO Consultant. - Proven experience in designing and implementing SAP FICO solutions. - Experience in multiple full lifecycle SAP FICO implementations. Certifications (Preferred) : - SAP Certified Application Associate - Financial Accounting with SAP ERP. - SAP Certified Application Associate - Management Accounting with SAP ERP.
