SAP PPDS/APO Consultant. 5 years of exp. Pune. Responsibilities : - Design, configure, and implement SAP PPDS solutions based on business requirements. - Conduct workshops and gather requirements from business users. - Develop functional specifications and technical documentation. - Configure master data, planning parameters, and scheduling strategies in SAP PPDS. - Implement and configure planning heuristics, optimization algorithms, and deployment strategies. - Ensure integration of PPDS with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP ERP, SAP MM, SAP SD). - Participate in full lifecycle SAP PPDS implementation projects. - Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting. - Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT). - Resolve incidents and service requests related to SAP PPDS. - Perform system performance monitoring and optimization. - Develop and implement planning and scheduling strategies to optimize production processes. - Analyze and improve planning and scheduling performance. - Provide expertise in capacity planning, demand planning, and supply network planning. - Implement and manage planning calendars and scheduling boards. - Ensure accuracy and consistency of master data in SAP PPDS. - Develop and implement data governance processes. - Manage and maintain planning relevant master data. - Design and develop interfaces between SAP PPDS and other systems. - Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor planning and scheduling performance. - Utilize standard SAP reporting tools and develop custom reports as needed. - Provide knowledge transfer and training to business users and team members. - Develop and maintain training materials and documentation. - Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP PPDS features and best practices. Required Skills : - 5 years of experience in SAP PPDS/APO consulting. - 5-7 years of hands-on experience in SAP PPDS/APO configuration and implementation. - Strong understanding of planning and scheduling processes. - Experience with planning heuristics, optimization algorithms, and deployment strategies. - Proficiency in configuring master data, planning parameters, and scheduling strategies. - Experience with integration of PPDS with other SAP modules. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - - Experience in conducting workshops and gathering requirements. - Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and UAT. Preferred Skills : - Experience with SAP S/4HANA PP/DS. - Experience with SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning). - Knowledge of advanced planning concepts and methodologies. - Experience with project management methodologies. - SAP PPDS/APO certification. - Experience with industry specific PPDS solutions. - Experience with ABAP development and debugging.
