Data Governance Engineer

Job Description : What You'll Do : - Write Python scripts for API integration & data governance - Help onboard business lines into Collibra (Going Live in Q3) - Ensure high data quality standards (completeness, timeliness, accuracy) - Work with PostgreSQL, CI/CD, code migration, and API automation - Assist in the onboarding process for business lines into Collibra, ensuring a smooth transition as the system goes live in Q3. - Ensure high standards for data quality, including completeness, timeliness, and accuracy of data. - Collaborate with teams to ensure effective data governance practices across the organization. - Work with PostgreSQL, CI/CD processes, code migration, and automation of APIs Required Skills : - 8-10 years of experience in Data Governance / Data Quality - Python (5 years) - Basic scripting - SQL (5 years) - Strong database experience - API Development - Linux & CI/CD automation - Previous Banking/Financial Experience Nice to Have : - Collibra or other Metadata Tools experience - Experience in large financial institutions (ref:hirist.tech)
