Zensar Technologies - SFDC Business Analyst - EDI

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SFDC Business Analyst with mandatory expertise in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem, with a strong emphasis on integrating Salesforce with external systems via EDI. You will leverage your deep understanding of both Salesforce functionalities and EDI processes to drive successful project outcomes. Responsibilities : - Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements from stakeholders for Salesforce implementations and enhancements. - Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications, user stories, and process flows. - Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and interviews with business users. - Develop and maintain business process documentation, including current state and future state diagrams. - Collaborate with technical teams (developers, architects) to ensure a clear understanding of business requirements and translate them into technical designs. - Participate in the testing process, including creating test plans, test cases, and performing user acceptance testing (UAT). - Provide functional expertise and guidance on Salesforce capabilities and best practices. - Assist in user training and the creation of user documentation. - Possess a deep understanding of EDI concepts, standards (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT), and communication protocols (e.g., AS2, SFTP). - Analyze and document EDI integration requirements between Salesforce and various external systems (e.g., ERP, supply chain partners, logistics providers). - Map data elements between Salesforce objects and EDI segments/fields. - Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement EDI integration solutions. - Troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues, including data mapping errors, transmission failures, and compliance issues. - Participate in the testing and validation of EDI integrations. - Stay up-to-date with evolving EDI standards and best practices. - Work with EDI middleware platforms and tools (specific experience with [mention specific tools if relevant] is a plus). - Understand and document integration points between Salesforce and other enterprise systems, with a strong focus on EDI. - Collaborate with integration developers to ensure seamless data exchange between Salesforce and external applications. - Participate in the design and testing of integration solutions. - Manage and prioritize tasks effectively within project timelines. - Communicate clearly and effectively with both technical and business stakeholders. - Provide regular updates on project progress and potential risks. Required Skills : - Minimum 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a significant focus on Salesforce implementations and integrations. - Mandatory : Proven and in-depth expertise in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) concepts, standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT), and communication protocols (AS2, SFTP). - Strong understanding of Salesforce platform functionalities, data model, and configuration capabilities. - Experience in gathering and documenting detailed business requirements for Salesforce solutions. - Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. - Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. - Experience with various project methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). Preferred Skills : - Salesforce certifications. - Experience with specific EDI middleware platforms or tools. - Understanding of API-based integrations with Salesforce. - Experience in specific industry verticals relevant to our clients. - Familiarity with data mapping tools. - Basic understanding of Salesforce development concepts (Apex, LWC).
