Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Manual & Automation Testing

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications, covering functional, integration, regression, and system testing. - Lead and contribute to the development and maintenance of automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, and Appium. - Perform thorough API testing using tools like Postman and RestAssured to ensure the reliability and performance of our backend systems. - Conduct mobile application testing on both iOS and Android platforms, identifying and documenting platform-specific issues. - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to ensure continuous quality assurance throughout the development lifecycle. - Perform performance testing using tools like JMeter or Gatling to identify and address potential bottlenecks and ensure optimal application performance. - Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives) and provide valuable QA insights. - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, provide feedback on design and usability, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software. - Identify, document, and track defects using a bug tracking system, and work closely with development teams to ensure their timely resolution. - Contribute to the improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and best practices within the team. - Mentor and provide guidance to junior QA engineers. Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 8 years of proven experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on both manual and automation testing. - Extensive hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium (for web), Cypress (for web), and Appium (for mobile). - Solid understanding and practical experience in API testing using tools like Postman and RestAssured. - Experience in testing mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms. - Proficiency in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions. - Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling. - Strong understanding of Agile software development methodologies. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
