Automation Engineer - Python & Playwright

Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Python, Playwright, and Selenium. - Write and execute automated test cases using Pytest. - Automate regression, integration, functional, and UI tests. - Collaborate with developers and product teams to define acceptance criteria and identify automation candidates. - Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated test execution. - Troubleshoot test failures, identify root causes, and work with the development team to resolve issues. - Perform code reviews to ensure automation best practices and code quality. - Generate and maintain test data as needed. - Provide test results, metrics, and progress reports to : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 6-9 years of experience in software test automation. - Strong proficiency in Python programming. - Extensive experience with Playwright for UI automation. - Solid experience with Selenium WebDriver. - Hands-on experience with Pytest framework. - Experience in designing and developing test automation frameworks from scratch. - Good understanding of CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). - Experience with automating different types of testing (e.g., regression, integration, functional, UI). - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration Qualifications : - Experience with other testing tools and frameworks. - Knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices. - Experience with API testing. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. - Experience with performance testing.
