Detailed Job Description : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Informatica MDM (Master Data Management) Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of our MDM solutions using the Informatica MDM platform. You will work closely with data architects, business analysts, and data stewards to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of our critical master data. Your expertise in Informatica MDM and data management principles will be crucial in delivering high-quality MDM solutions that drive business value. Responsibilities : - Design and develop the Informatica MDM Hub configuration, including data modeling (physical and logical), hierarchies, relationships, and data validation rules. - Develop mappings and transformations to onboard data from various source systems into the MDM Hub using Informatica Data Integration tools or native MDM functionalities. - Configure and optimize match and merge rules to ensure accurate entity resolution and data consolidation. - Implement data quality rules and processes within the Informatica MDM platform to cleanse and standardize master data. - Develop and configure workflows for data governance processes, data stewardship tasks, and exception management. - Design and implement user interfaces and data access layers for data stewards and business users. - Develop custom components and extensions using Java or other relevant technologies as needed. - Collaborate with ETL developers to design and implement data integration processes that feed master data into downstream systems. - Understand data integration patterns and best practices related to MDM. - Troubleshoot data integration issues related to MDM. - Participate in the definition and implementation of data quality standards and rules. - Work with data governance teams to implement and enforce data governance policies within the MDM system. - Contribute to the development of data stewardship processes and workflows. - Analyze and optimize the performance of the Informatica MDM Hub, data mappings, match rules, and workflows. - Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure efficient data processing. - Participate in the development of test plans and test cases for MDM solutions. - Perform unit testing, system testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT). - Assist in the deployment and configuration of MDM solutions in different environments. - Create and maintain technical documentation for MDM solutions, including design specifications, data mappings, and operational procedures. - Provide technical support and guidance to data stewards and end-users. - Stay up-to-date with the latest features and functionalities of the Informatica MDM platform and related technologies. - Explore and recommend new approaches and technologies to enhance our MDM capabilities. Required Skills and Expertise : - Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as an Informatica MDM Developer. - Strong expertise in the Informatica MDM platform, including : 1. Deep understanding of all aspects of the Hub Console configuration. 2. Designing and implementing physical and logical data models. 3. Creating and managing mappings for data onboarding and transformation. 4. Configuring and tuning match rules and merge strategies. 5. Implementing data quality rules and processes within Informatica MDM. 6. Designing and implementing workflows for data governance and stewardship. - Solid understanding of relational databases and strong SQL skills for data querying, analysis, and troubleshooting. - Good understanding of data integration and ETL concepts. - Familiarity with data governance principles and best practices. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
