Java Backend Developer - Spring Boot

Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and implement high-quality and efficient backend solutions primarily using Java and related technologies (e.g., Spring Boot, etc.) - Develop and maintain robust and RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications. - Collaborate with front-end developers and other teams to integrate backend services. - Utilize your experience with Node.js and JavaScript to contribute to specific projects or integrations as needed. - Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards. - Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to backend systems. - Optimize applications for performance and scalability. - Work with databases (e.g., relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases). - Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements in Java and backend development. - Contribute to architectural decisions and provide technical insights. - Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. - Work effectively in a remote team environment, communicating clearly and : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 6 years of professional experience as a Backend Developer, with a primary focus on Java. - Strong understanding and practical experience with Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Spring Boot, etc.) - Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs. - Solid working knowledge of Node.js and JavaScript, with the ability to apply these skills to backend development or integration tasks. - Experience with database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). - Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. - Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment. - Ability to manage time effectively and work Points : - Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). - Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. - Experience with testing frameworks relevant to Java and Node.js. - Knowledge of message queue systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) (ref:hirist.tech)
