Accounts Payable Clerk - Immediate Start Hemel Hempstead | 9AM to 4PM Office-Based | Temporary (Potential to become a permanent role) Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional looking to join a values-led business that genuinely takes pride in the service it delivers? Think Accountancy & Finance are working with a well-established company based in Hemel Hempstead to find a confident and detail-driven Accounts Payable Clerk to support their busy finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being part of a collaborative, supportive culture. The role is initially offered on a temporary basis, with the potential to go permanent for the right person. Key Responsibilities: Full ownership of supplier accounts - setting up new vendors, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely reconciliations Processing high volumes of purchase invoices in line with internal controls and approval processes Weekly and monthly bank reconciliations Managing staff expenses and company credit card reconciliations Promptly responding to and resolving supplier queries, building and maintaining positive relationships Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required during busy periods What We're Looking For: Previous experience in an end-to-end Accounts Payable role Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills A proactive and solution-focused approach Great communication skills and a positive, team-oriented mindset If you're available to start immediately and think this sounds like a great fit, we'd love to hear from you.
