Data Engineer - Google Cloud Platform

We are looking for a highly skilled GCP Data Engineer to join our data engineering team. This role requires strong experience in building and optimizing modern data pipelines using Google BigQuery, Azure SQL Managed Services, and Incorta. You will also leverage AI-driven automation for performance optimization, anomaly detection, and monitoring. The ideal candidate is passionate about scalable data architecture, intelligent automation, and cross-platform data integration. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and storage using BigQuery, Azure SQL Managed Services, and Incorta. - Implement AI-driven automation to monitor pipelines, detect anomalies, and optimize performance. - Ensure data quality, governance, and security standards are upheld across all data workflows. - Optimize data workflows for cost-efficiency, scalability, and performance across GCP and Azure environments. - Collaborate with BI, AI/ML, and application teams to provide seamless and secure access to curated datasets. - Integrate data from diverse enterprise systems, including Salesforce, Oracle AMS, and other legacy or cloud platforms. - Support business intelligence initiatives by ensuring data integrity, availability, and traceability. - Participate in code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing. Required Skills : - Strong hands-on experience with Google BigQuery - Expertise in ETL/ELT development - Proficiency in Azure SQL Managed Services - Working knowledge of Incorta for analytics and reporting - Proven ability in pipeline optimization, cost control, and resource allocation - Experience in automation of data workflows using AI or ML-based tools - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field - Certification in GCP Data Engineering or Azure Data Services is a plus - Experience working in hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments - Familiarity with data orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Cloud Composer) - Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) (ref:hirist.tech)
