ETL Developer - Abinitio

Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using AB Initio components - Implement data integration solutions across various platforms, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. - Apply Data Warehousing concepts and design principles to create scalable and efficient data models. - Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to support business intelligence and analytics. - Integrate with Hadoop/Big Data ecosystems, leveraging tools like Hive and HDFS for large-scale data processing. - Ensure efficient data flow between traditional databases and big data platforms. - Develop and maintain Unix shell scripts for automation and scheduling of ETL jobs. - Utilize Python for scripting tasks and data manipulation. - Work with AWS services to build and deploy cloud-based data solutions. - Implement data pipelines and storage solutions using AWS tools. - Monitor and optimize ETL processes for performance, ensuring timely data delivery. - Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks in data workflows. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions. - Document technical designs, processes, and workflows for future Skills & Experience : - 69 years of experience in AB Initio development, with a strong portfolio of ETL projects. - Proficiency in Unix and SQL, with experience in shell scripting and database query optimization. - Hands-on experience with Hadoop/Big Data technologies, including Hive and HDFS. - Solid understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and design. - Experience with Python for scripting and data processing tasks. - Familiarity with AWS services, including S3, EC2, and Lambda. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Excellent communication and teamwork Qualifications : - Experience in the banking or financial services domain. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.
