AEM Developer

Job Description : Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and implement scalable and efficient AEM-based solutions for clients, including custom components, templates, workflows, and integrations. - Work on AEM Content Management features, including authoring, publishing, and site management. - Develop and integrate third-party systems, APIs, and tools with AEM to meet business needs. - Implement AEM components using Java, Sling, OSGI, JCR, HTL (HTML Template Language), and Sightly. - Lead a team of AEM developers and provide mentorship and technical guidance. - Oversee the successful delivery of AEM projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results. - Collaborate with stakeholders, including project managers, designers, and business analysts, to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business objectives. - Conduct code reviews, maintain coding standards, and ensure best practices are followed. - Engage with clients to understand their requirements and provide expert guidance on how AEM can best meet their needs. - Design solutions that adhere to AEM best practices and standards, ensuring high performance, scalability, and maintainability. - Provide technical leadership in pre-sales, contributing to proposals, presentations, and demos. - Optimize AEM workflows and performance for fast, responsive, and scalable applications. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AEM performance, security, and integrations. - Conduct regular maintenance and updates to ensure AEM platforms are up to date and secure. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless customer experience. - Create technical documentation and architecture diagrams to support development and operations. - Share knowledge and provide training on AEM and web technologies within the Skills & Experience : - 5 years of experience in AEM development, including hands-on experience with AEM versions and a thorough understanding of AEM architecture, workflows, and custom components. - Proficiency in Java, Sling, OSGI, JCR, and HTML Template Language (HTL/Sightly). - Experience with AEM integrations, including REST APIs, third-party systems, and content delivery networks (CDNs). - Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and frameworks (e.g., Angular, React) is a plus. - Hands-on experience in AEM Authoring, Publishing, and DAM (Digital Asset Management). - Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Maven) and version control systems (Git, SVN). - Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and guide developers. - Excellent communication and client-facing skills, with experience in gathering requirements, solution design, and client to Have : - AEM Certification (Adobe Certified Expert in AEM). - Experience with Adobe Marketing Cloud and other Adobe products (Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics). - Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). - Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
