Azure Data Engineer - Databricks/Python

Job Description : - Design and build efficient and scalable data pipelines using Azure Databricks. - Transform data using Azure Databricks and Delta Lake to enable effective analysis and reporting. - Implement end-to-end Big Data solutions within the Azure cloud ecosystem, including Data Lakes and Delta Lakes. - Utilize your strong SQL skills to write complex, highly optimized queries across large volumes of data. - Manage development tasks, stories, bugs, and issues using Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines. - Implement integration solutions within the Microsoft Azure environment. - Perform data analysis to troubleshoot data-related issues and assist in their resolution. - Collaborate effectively within agile development projects and sprint deliveries. What you'll bring : - Strong experience in designing and building data pipelines using Azure Databricks. - Proven experience in transforming data using Azure Databricks and Delta Lake. - Hands-on experience implementing Big Data solutions in a cloud ecosystem, including Data/Delta Lakes. - Solid SQL experience, with the ability to write complex, highly optimized queries across large datasets. - Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD for stories, bugs, and issue management. - Experience implementing integration solutions in Microsoft Azure. - Ability to perform data analysis to troubleshoot data-related issues. - Experience working in agile development projects and sprint deliveries. Good-to-Have Skills : - Experience with other Azure data services (e.g, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics). - Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices. - Familiarity with data governance and data quality principles. - Experience with other programming languages relevant to data engineering (ref:hirist.tech)
